Regular brushing and flossing using the proper techniques gets rid of tiny food particles and sticky plaque, both of which can contribute to bad breath. Those compounds are released by your lungs when you exhale. That means even if you rinse after eating, your breath can still smell bad. It’s not that you can’t indulge in these foods, but you might want to skip them at lunch in order to prevent bringing bad breath back to your office.
Drink plenty of water

Chewing gum is another great way to stimulate saliva production so your mouth can freshen itself naturally. Just be sure to choose a gum that’s sugarless, or you might wind up with more bad breath — or even cavities.
